Ontario should stop using sewage sludge as fertilizer until health impact clear
Environmentalists and farmers want the Ontario government to stop the use of sewage sludge as fertilizer for the province's farms until the full impact of its health effects is known.
They say after recent outbreaks of E. coli, salmonella, and listeria, the province has to make sure it takes the time to protect public health.
