Turkey raises amount of water it gives to Iraq
Turkey raised the amount of water it was giving to Iraq.
The Iraqi Ministry of Water Resources said that Turkey raised the amount of water it was giving to Iraq.
"Turkey raised the flow of the River Firat (Euphrates) to 570 cubic meters per second," the ministry said.
In its statement, the Iraqi Ministry expressed hope that Turkey would increase more the amount of water it water it was giving to Iraq.
Also, Turkey raised the flow of River Firat from 130 to 360 cubic meters per second at the end of May.
